    REFUSE TO LOSE

I was in Liverpool with Nike yesterday, to compete against a crowd of runners. I had to beat them by painting a canvas in the time it took them to run 5k. It worked out I had roughly 25 minutes, so time was short!

I painted a slogan “Refuse To Lose” which nods back to running culture. Using Indian ink on canvas - 1 colour to keep things simple - It was super tight, but I’d like to call it a draw. Thanks to all the runners who took part…

    “AS SEEN ON TV” VIDEO

Thursday 11th August saw the opening of my solo show “As Seen On TV” at Kemistry Gallery in London, and the official launch of my collaboration with eS. A huge thanks to everyone who came out - I was amazed by the turnout, especially after the recent riots in London. Thanks to the legend Dan Magee and John Fisher for putting this film together.

    eS PRODUCT - CLOSER LOOK

So eS gave me the chance to make my own small collection with them this season.  I chose one of my personal favourite shoes - The La Brea - and worked up my signature colourway. Grey on the outside, and my bright yellow static pattern on the inside. Pretty much the same way my head works…

I also made a hooded herringbone harrington jacket with raglan sleeves. For me the perfect balance between British and American styles, while keeping it wearable. Features chain stitched slogans from my show, and stripe cuffs and waist, nodding towards Varsity style sports.

A Starter herringbone snapback cap with ‘Golden State of Mind’ embroidered in a tonal manner on the front. For me a classic piece of Americana…

Finally I did 4 t shirt graphics, which all relate to the show, and feature an athletic style signature label. All available now from all good skate stores… Thanks eS!
